The lid has a large opening for easy filling, and the reservoir includes a fine stainless steel wire mesh filter at the bottom to trap particles and separate air bubbles from the coolant.
The PRO version of the ULTITUBE D5 includes a gas exchange membrane in the lid, which helps maintain stable pressure within the reservoir by compensating for temperature fluctuations without allowing coolant to escape. An RGBpx-compatible LED ring with 13 individually addressable LEDs is included, allowing for customizable lighting effects.
