EKWB EK-Quantum Torque HDC-16 Compression Fittings are designed for use with 16mm outer diameter rigid tubing like Acrylic and PETG. These fittings are part of the EK-Quantum series and feature a minimalistic design with a smooth base surface and a nickel finish. They are ideal for users looking for a clean, unbranded look in their custom builds.

The fittings use a locking ring that compresses a rubber gasket to secure the tubing in place. This ensures the tube does not pull out during use. The inside of the barb is socketed with a 9mm hex Allen key pattern, making it easier to install and tighten securely. A 9mm Allen key is recommended for installation to avoid skin damage.

Each fitting has an outer diameter of 24mm and includes a G1/4" BSP thread for compatibility with standard cooling systems. The installed height is 15mm, making them suitable for tight spaces. The compression ring has cutouts in the EK Quantum signature shape, allowing aesthetic color rings to be visible. These color rings are sold separately and come in various colors.

The fittings are made from CNC-machined brass with a high-quality nickel finish. The seal is made from durable rubber O-rings, ensuring a leak-proof connection. It is important to wet the O-ring with water before installation and to chamfer the edges of the cut tubing to prevent damage. These fittings should not be used with aluminum fluid gaming parts.

EKWB recommends using a 0.5mm x 45° chamfer on cut tubing edges to avoid damaging the O-ring during installation. The product comes in a 4-pack, making it convenient for multiple installations or replacements. Proper installation techniques are crucial to ensure longevity and performance.
